How to Make a Computer Game

Ever wanted to know how to make a game? Visit this guide and it will set you on your target.

First you need to ask yourself a few questions:

  1. Do I know any programming languages?

  2. What is the game going to be about?

  3. Is your ability of programming good enough to make it?

  1. If you do know a programming language how well do you know it? There is a variety of programming languages out there but there are a few main ones. These are: C, C++, Java, Python, Flash, and Ruby. I personally program in Java as I find it very easy to program games in.

  2. Your game could be about anything it could even be a MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) if you know what you are doing.

  3. How well do you know the programming language? If you are aiming to make a MMORPG and only know how to program a simple line of code, then you are not being realistic and it will be a long time before you are going to make one.

  1. I chose Java to learn because you can embed it into web pages making it easy for people to play it with no downloads. I learnt to program it from a book but you can search Google for some tutorials. When you know enough about the language you can turn it into a game. I used javacooperation to learn the basics of gaming. Also Youtube is a good source for tutorials. Search aphonik for Java tutorials.

  2. Game Discovery is a good source for game ideas. Also a good source to play games is Miniclip. If your game is good enough they will pay you for the license of the game.

Konami'nin ünlü futbol serisinin 2009 durağında Şampiyonlar Ligi'nin lisanslı olmasına sevindiyseniz, bu habere mutluluktan uçacaksınız.

Mağazalarda bugün satışa sunulan PES 2009 için ücretsiz indirilebilir içerik geliyor! PS3, Xbox 360 ve PC platformlarında boy gösteren Konami şaheseri, kasım ayından başlayarak yeni ve lisanslı takımları seçilebilir olarak sunmaya hazırlanıyor. Üç hafta içinde hazır olacak indirilebilir içerik, dört İspanyol takımı; Athletico Madrid, Sevilla, Racing Santander ve Valladolid'i güncelleyecek. Ayrıca oyundaki birçok takımın forma ve kadrolarında da güncellemeler gözlenecek.

Şampiyonlar Ligi'ne on iki yeni takımın ekleneceği kasım güncellemesi, Marseille, Juventus ve Basel gibi takımları da tamamen yenileyecek. Konami'den yapılan açıklamaya göre, PES 2009 kadroları sürekli güncel tutularak ilerleyen dönemde de bu gibi ücretsiz içerikler oyunculara sunulacak.
